i used to go to an evangelical church. a very charismatic, born again, crying all the time type church. it doesn't get more christian than that. even some of THEM found certain parts of the bible boring.

No not really. I read so much a night then go back over it over and over again. Then if I find some word and I'm like whats that I write it down and look it up and find the meaning then go back and read it. I read 10 verse a night to the kids and then I break it down and tell them what it means. I just read a small amount and study it then move to the next part. When I was young I hated trying to read the bible. I would get lost and not get any of what I read. But now I enjoy it

Personally, I find the Bible scary. It's always talking about how non-christians are punished in hell. I'm a Buddhist, but it's still scary!

Its the most interesting literature I have ever read. I read through it daily and am never bored with what I'm shown.
