No not really. I read so much a night then go back over it over and over again. Then if I find some word and I'm like whats that I write it down and look it up and find the meaning then go back and read it. I read 10 verse a night to the kids and then I break it down and tell them what it means. I just read a small amount and study it then move to the next part. When I was young I hated trying to read the bible. I would get lost and not get any of what I read. But now I enjoy it

i will guess Jesus replaced into an enormously humorous yet extreme guy. The bible does not keep a checklist of all of his sayings or precisely each and every thing he did or everywhere he went. i'm particular he did some very humorous issues like that one time he replaced into attempting to get some figs off a tree and while he got here across it barren, he cursed it asserting it rather is going to possibly on no account have the skill to offer fruit in it rather is lifetime. Jesus replaced into probable a captivating boy, speaking to each and all of the discovered men interior the temples and anyplace he went. He stated many insightful issues and it rather is the fantastic issues that human beings learn from maximum no longer the extensive-unfold humorous issues, so because it rather is probable why you sense the style you do with reference to the bible and Christianity. inspite of your non secular convictions, i desire you do locate an inner experience of peace in Christ, via fact he rather replaced right into a sturdy guy, and is our savior.

Personally, I find the Bible scary. It's always talking about how non-christians are punished in hell. I'm a Buddhist, but it's still scary!

You should start with a Bible for kids, with illustrations, or rent a movies about biblical stories. You will see the beauty of it. Then start with the advanced form which is the Bible.

Its the most interesting literature I have ever read. I read through it daily and am never bored with what I'm shown.
You will receive only what you are disposed to receive. If you think its boring and you get nothing from it...thats what you will get.
