Should not see it as punishment. People blessed with good looks can still make decisions (assuming they have the mental ability to do so), including whether to turn to God or not. However, good looks can place a greater challenge, much as great wealth. It's easier to forget about God when you have more things (like money, good looks, talent, intelligence, etc.) that can help you obtain pleasure. That's why those who are poor (with little money or ugly looks or severe disabilities) will find it easier to turn to God. "But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first." (Matthew 19:30).

If you have better things over the rest of the people around you and use that to take advantage of their trust or weakness. Your actions may lead you to commit a punishable error either by your religious belief or by the people of the state.
Actually, not only the good looking, or the influenctial rich can do that, there are times people take advantage of their handicap to fool around and that's dangerous too. It is not only the good looking who fall in that predicament anyone who holds a responsibility or power to protect that preys on the weak is accountable.

No God doesn't discriminate against looks... God doesn't see the outside attraction. He sees what you do in your inner life rather than how you look to other people... God is a just God, not opionated...that is just like saying you love your beautiful child better than your mediocore child... It couldn't work because then you wouldn't be a good parent...

Who are examples of better looking people?

Someone told me that being "tall" is one thing that is a characteristic of a more attractive person.

Ok, think about all the tall people you know and all of the short people. Who is more punished?

Often people don't even talk about their pain, so you might not be able to know what kind of pain someone you deem "good looking" had to endure.

Why can't people just be happy with what they have? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Everyone has things they like about their looks, and things they hate.

I don't think it's a good idea to compare your life with someone, especially since you don't really "know" what they've been through in life.

What happened to beauty being in the eye of the beholder? Most people like a confident person! Each person is responsible for themselves regarding of what one considers beauty! God looks t the entire being!

***Does God punish better looking people more, since they are rewarded so many more opportunities in life? ***

No,
We all get punished approximately the same.

Have a blessed day.

Good thought, but, if the old phrase "Beauty's in the eye of the beholder" is true, then are they REALLY more beautiful, or are you just more enamoured of them, or more lustful of them, and is it YOU then that God might punish more severely for your sins, since "Beauty's in the eye of the beholder (YOU)". God Bless you.

No. "You reep what you sew" so to speak. If you live a life of sin you will be punished as so. If you pray and truly worship God than I feel as if you won't be punished just for being good looking.
