I am in love with my yahoo answers girlfriend. I just wanted to ask, is it a sin to love and to want to be loved.
To sit at my desk and hit INBOX every 30 45 minutes just looking for that 1 that is darker cause its new,
to sit at my home computer on instant messenger to waiting for her to send an instant message,
to think of her on the train to work,
to dream about her,

Despite what some would like to think the concept of sin is not black and white... it is a huge grey area and unique as every individual is. I am not a perfect person so who am I to judge you.

First, why are YOU worried about sin? Aren't you an agnostic evolutionist?

Second, didn't you ask this same question not too long ago, but that version said something about a wife?

Third, just as we fear the unknown we also get infatuated with it very easily.

Fourth, if you are married and in love with someone else...you need to get out the door. Life is too short to spend it with someone you don't love and your wife should have the opportunity to fall in love again too. Besides a rock is easier to resuscitate than a dead marriage.

And last, but not least...if you truly are in love congratulations. It is a precious thing. Only our human mindset makes love wrong.

It is not a sin but you are foolishly attached to delusion. Now that's the pity and sad thing though. Cyper and long distant love is very inconvenient and does not allow opportunities for love relationship to progress and grow. To see a physical girl and falling in love at first few sights is foolish enough, not to mention cyper relationships. Know that our senses are caused by objects outside of ourself and are basically illusional in nature. There is no master of such senses consciousnesses. Be strong and develop a concentrated mind.
Take care.

Think about this.
If your wife was doing it, would it annoy you?
Can you do it with your wife looking over your shoulder?
Or tell her the thoughts that you have told us?

If you can honestly answer yes to the last two questions, then it is not a sin. It is a harmless fantasy-relationship.

I'm pretty sure it's not a sin...one of the 7 Deadly Sins though is lust... But I'm not sure if your relationship falls under that category because only you would know. If you love her(which it seems like you are madly in love with her), then you love her and I wish you the best of luck!

You sound more lonely then sinful. Maybe you should try getting out with live, breathing people that you can interact with. You should start living a real life.

if your reason for drawing a line while it is composed of sexual intercourse is by using your relationship with God, then you certainly could already know if what you're doing is sturdy or incorrect. no person on Yahoo! solutions advised you to abstain from intercourse (which i think of is a sturdy ingredient) so how can they inform you what's okay? you may desire to ask God for coaching in basic terms such as you ask Him for coaching on different issues on your existence.

Doesn't sound like it. Can we use this site as a dating service? I often wondered about that. Any good looking Christian men in their early forties who love basketball, football, backpacking, and horseback riding out there?

If it was a sin to love and want to be loved, the human race wouldn't be here. Try to meet her. I hope she loves you back as much as you love her. If she does.......thats pure romance all day.
