First book of Samuel, chapter 28:4–25
Isn't witch craft real if the Witch of Endor was able to summon the ghost of the prophet Samuel from his grave, with a talisman.

So since the bible says that a witch brought his ghost back. Doesn't that mean that there are actually Witches and Ghosts?

The Bible is actually a collection of stories that tell the history of Isreal. Most of them were verbally passed down for centuries, so I'm sure there was lots of elaboration over time. Like everything in life, you can't believe everything you read or hear at it's face value.

look a Deuteronomy 18:10 it clearly lets you know God does not like or tolerate spiritistic practices, but the bible also brings out that there are evil spirits who do have limited power . also its known that you cant take just one scripture alone the bible is a whole , so when you look at other scriptures you see that it brings out that the dead don't know whats going on Ecclesiastes 9:5, in the scripture you are talking about it was not really samuel but a spirit who said he was and he choose to prophesy against the king ( 2 Corinthians 11:14) so yes there are witches but their power comes from a source (evil spirit creatures) that God does not approve still down to this day . note also that the old law was fulfilled in Jesus so he would not work against what was written as some try to say ,when the dead were seen with him it was referred to as the transfiguration and Jesus himself called it a vision.

Yes, both are real. But you don't HAVE to be a witch to communicate with the dead.

Jesus spoke with Elijah & Moses on Mt Hermon before his crucixition. (Matt 17:3) Proving that communication between the dead & the living exist and a rightous person can do it as well.

So as Christians, if you believe that Jesus came to fulfil the Law, many ideas of the Old Testament, (like the scriptures in Deut) are not applied any more. Jesus proved that. He spoke with the dead (summoning-necromancy), he prophecied (omens/oracles), casting lots (divination-Urim & Thummin-Ex 28:30) many of the things that were once forbidden in the Old Testament, etc...

If you read the passages around the passage you wanted to know about, God had allowed him to be destroyed because he never repented. He turned to paganism to find out what would happen meaning he fell further away from God and started asking unbelievers for help. He ended up killing himself. Yes it means there are pagan worshippers. The Bible does not actually say the person was a witch. It says a medium.

I would have to look into it, but if you are quoting it accurately then I would say yes. I didn't know that the bible said that stuff, and as a Baptist, I actually do believe in Ghost's and Witches, because I believe that I have witnessed both. If you want details, just message me and I will fill you in.

Well since I am a Witch I think it's rather obvious my answer to the question of whether or not we exist is. And yes ghosts do exist, though they're not as common as some people think.

This is an interesting question and I will definitely read the verses in Samuel.

Anything living or spiritual that is not OF GOD is OF SATAN.

To answer your Q -- Yes and the world is filled with evil because of the demonic spirits, the Bible says not to seek them out.

No that is just another chapter in a book of myth, There are no real witches with witchcraft power. There are a religious group with actual tax exampt status the same as any other church.
They hold their meetings, chant their thing, but it doesn't mean a thing outsid eof their right to do so.
Every conceivable witch craft has been disprpoven.

Yes this does mean that there really are witches and spirits(not ghosts). This is true(if you are a firm believer in the bible) because the bile forbids witchcraft. This info can be found in Revelations.

Samuel was dead. Ec. 9:4,5

He was not brought up.
It was demonism.
That's why it's a grave sin to fool with spiritualism.
And Saul had to account for what he did.
