on a ford everything starts out from the solenoid switch,,if you have power to it,,you should have it to everything else,,unless the switch has gone completely out of it,,you need to first start there,,because the light,s should work even if the solenoid switch goes out ,,it sounds like you have a bad connection somewhere from,,or around the battery,,that's is where i would start looking,,i own a repair shop in Tennessee,and i do this for a living,,if i had the truck here i would start at the battery,,and go from there,,you will find it,,you just have to take your time doing it,,good luck with it,,,i hope this help,s.,,,ps there is a fuse able link that comes off the solenoid switch that feed the ignition switch,,you might want to check it to,,good luck.

I would say the ignition switch. If you have a lose ignition switch it would be the probable cause of the problem.

Loose wires anywhere in the vehicke could cause battery drainage problems. Did you have the alternator checked? It could be bad and just not charging the battery properly.

down under the colum is where the ingition switch is at and some times they move just a little more if you have a tilt wheel
