Yes you should call the cops. He had no right to lay a hand on you. And If I were you I would stay as far away from him. He sounds like a woman beater and you don't want no part of that. If he comes around bothering you keep calling the cops and get a restraining order on him.

Holly crap yes. Just call the police, that's exactly what they're there for, they will probably just tell you to stay away from him and that's what you should do. But think about it, what if he goes nuts and really tries to hurt you? Wouldn't you like to be able to call up the police and they would know that you had called in before so they'd be there to protect you in an instant. Just tell the cops, get it on record, and get away from the guy.

I'm so sorry! Yes, please call the cops so that it is on the record that this guy can be abusive, no matter how hard he hit you! If it was on purpose it needs to be reported.
Also be very aware of the typical abuser's loop. A physical act like that is frequently followed with the Honeymoon period where he regrets hitting you and begs for forgiveness and buys gifts(jewelery, flowers etc.) Its a trap that so many fall for. Don't be that person.

Well, you should call the cops if any bruise is left. If there is a bruise left, then that means he hit you hard, and that means YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY CALL THE COPS!!!!
If he hurt you like that, he is not your guy, cheating on you and all.
If you don't call, your boyfriend would think you're a chicken and will maybe hurt you more, and even end up doing sexual abuse.

first i would leave as fast as i could. then i would go to a friends house calm down and depending on how bad he hit you call the cops. make sure you get this man out of your life. hitting is not right there are other ways to solve things and you need to know that and so does he.
please for your sake make sure it never happens again even if he says it wont it always will unless hes willing to get help

no Man has the right to hit a woman anger doesnt give you that right you are a person and you deserve to be treat w/ respect! I have 3 sons ages 21to26 and if one of them ever hit a woman i would help him meet the lord in a close and personal way!! call the cops he knew better..............

You should have kicked his a**, but since you didn't if he comes around again, i would say yeah call the cops. The nerve of him cheating on you and then hitting you. Don't let him get away with anymore abuse.

Get away from him. He doesn't love you if he hits you. If he doesn't leave you alone, call the cops on him. I haven't had a boyfriend who hit me, but if I did, we'd be over before he could even apologize. Same thing goes if I get married.
