I need help i like him but where is this going to go?

I like him and im not sure if he likes me back.Everytime we talk we always fight now matter how we try to avoid fighting we always end up fighting at the end i think it kinda sucks but we always do.I want to know how to tell him i like him and some advice on how we can stop fighting or just why are we fighting over the most stupid things.

talk to him serious talking,tell him that u cant be with him if we continue fighting over stupid stuff

Sounds like you both want to be the Alpha Male. Why not instead of argueing, say, ok? Would that hurt and would it send a message better than an argument would?
