Interesting question. The kind of love referred to in the context of Matthew 5:44 ("...love your enemies, bless them that curse you...") does not mean feeling an emotion of "love" or liking the enemies. It means wanting whats best for one's enemies. What's best for someone might not be what that individual would consider best. For some individuals, the only way of reaching salvation will be via the acceptance of a very painful punishment, because nothing else will wake them up to acknowledging their sin; however, any amount of pain is worth the price of realising salvation.

Satan made an irrevocable decision to turn against God; the demon's fate is sealed. Satan will be getting what's best for someone that chooses to turn against God. Since we already know this from Scripture, one should not bother wanting anything for Satan--God has already determined Satan's fate. For people living in this world that still have a chance to turn to God, it is not too late to wish what is best for them.

Satan and our enemies are not in the same category. Read the context when Jesus is talking about loving our enemies, Satan is not even in the picture.

Ok it says Love Your Enemies, Not Gods enemy. We are suppose to love everyone because we do not have the right to judge for we are all sinners. We are not suppose to love satan. It even says it in the Bible. James 4:7-10 for example.

that is an excellent question and one I have asked myself several times. By Christ's standards, which is what we are striving to live up to, then yes, we should love Satan.
And he's a rather pathetic being if you think about it. He had everything given to him and was adored by his Creator. But it wasn't enough.
I would defer to hate the sin, love the sinner.

No, it is the Jews that love Satan. Christians love QVC and Charleston Heston.

Considering all the crimes and massacres that have taken place in the name of Christianity throughout history, maybe many of them do love Satan and call him God.

Nope.

I CHANGE MY ANSWER!

Satan isn't a person. Therefore he's outta the realm of enemies. The Bible is referring to people, not fallen angels who fell for disobeying their creator and wanting more power.
