I've read quite a few posts by christians that if you don't accept Jesus then you are doomed. I'm wondering how this is reconciled by the fact that the majority of the human race does not believe in christ. It seems a contridicition that a "just" god would condem 85-90% of the earth population to hell.

First: Ppl condemn themselves by rejecting Jesus as their Personal Savior. The Bible says there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. (book of Romans, I beleive)
Second: Your belief, and i quote, "...the majority of the human race does not believe in Christ..." is debatable. However, the Bible does say that "Hell enlargeth itself" and that "narrow is the way that leads to Heaven, and few will choose it." (paraphrased)

I don't have to accept other religions.
I have Jesus and it is enough for me.
All the sheep are jumping off the cliff, does that make them right?
NO.
My papie did it that way, my grandpapie did it that way, my great great grandpapie did it that way; that means it's gota be right, doesn't it?
NO NO.

The more you think about it, it comes to you doesn't it?
You are called to salvation.
What is the criteria, I don't know.
It will not be many that make it to heaven. It is written:
Mat 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it.
Luke 13:24 "Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
John 10:7 Jesus therefore said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
John 10:8 "All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
John 10:9 "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Do you think that I am brow beating you with the scripture?
I'm not, it is not my intention.
I just want you to read it and see the truth that Jesus Christ said, not me.

that's true but what is hell? find that answer and you will understand that God is not such a bad person, also think about it this way while only 85% to 90 % of the world may not believe in Christ just about all of them know of him so its really them choosing not to live and for those who have not had the chance to learn about him read acts 24:15

Well first of all, most people believe in God. And I dont believe that you have to be a 'Christian' to go to heaven. That name is associated with religion, and you dont get to heaven by religion. I believe you could be a person in the middle of no where, that has never met anyone and if they believe in God and even call Him something else, that if they follow God that its the same God, that they will be saved. God is a God of love and wants to save His people. You dont know what God is going to end up doing in the end, only God knows that.

The Bible outlines a clear plan of salvation by accepting Jesus Christ. If 85-90% of the people on the earth willfully choose not to accept Christ, then condeming them to hell is indeed just.

God doesn't not condomn anybody they condem themselves by walking in an area or mindset where God is not. When he gave free will it also meant there would be those that do not choose to walk with Him. Since the human creation was never designed to operate without the source, then when they are outside of the source they are dead in spirit. To be aware of what it means to be alive and choose to be dead is what hell is. It is in death of the spirit that this place or mindset is. It is always your own choice, not Gods.

It is not the christians blowing up bombs and killing thousands of innocent men women and children in a horrific way. It is not the christians causing all the mayhem with airport security through other religions misguided youth. So before you start condemming the christians look at other intolerant religions who live in a christian society. They are trying to change the rules of christianity to suit their faith.

It's definitely not reconciled. And I read that 33% of the world's population is Christian, so that's a lot of people to condemn isn't it?

its about time we where allowed to follow our own beliefs and all other extremists stop putting their views on others but that is only a pipe dream because we will never be allowed to think as individuals as someone will always say their view on religion or politics what ever is right and you are wrong that's why there are still religious wars being fought today.
I think you need to make up your own mind in what you believe in and what you what to learn about that belief

It is funny because so many Christians feel that it is only the ones in their denomination that will go to this so-called heaven while the others will go to hell. I think this so-called God is laughing his *** off at all this.
