If you can get hold of a polystyrene box with a lid or wrap in lots and lots of newspaper for insulation. This should keep the contents at the temperature they were to start off with for longer than if nothing at all.

First of all how do you find egg-nog when it isn't even holiday season yet. I love it but you can only get it around thanksgiving and christmas where I live. Now for a 7 hour car journey no big deal just put it in an ice chest with some ice it will be fine it takes a lot for it to go bad.

id have to say just plain dont store egg nog on a long journey.. unless of corz its in your stomach. Then again if it gets lumpy you can use it for a makeshift mud fight!!
