I did a question search here but came up with different and scattered answers. The only things I know is that it's a special date for the Islams (Don't know why) and that some people are getting very scared. My friends MSN name reads "4 Days Left", witch will be the 22, but maybe he's doing something on that date.
Can anyone explain to me why everyone is getting really scared?

It's some date way back in Islamic history which was recalled as having something to do with a great light in the sky. Some are speculating that the Muslims will "commemorate" it by causing another bright light in the sky -- blowing up Jerusalem or Baghdad. I'd say a few prayers for peace and not panic about it.

Yes, it's also the day Iran is supposed to make some decision about its nuclear arms, and some fear that's also a possible link to the bright light event.

It's actually on the 21st, by the way. It's an Islamic holiday called either Isra or Me'raj. I don't what it is or how it's celebrated, because I'm not Muslim.
