God is the same, yesterday today and tomorrow. Sex was never a sin. It is written if a man lay with a woman , in the eyes of God they are married. It is we that take sex lightly , not God.
It's just that people are less moved by Gods word. Before TV and movies, families were together many of these families read the Bible together and took it to hart.
Divorce was virtually unknown. In my childhood, I never new any divorced people. If someone didn't have a daddy, we would ask if he died.
That was 45 years ago. None of my friends took drugs, we never saw any one on drugs.
There were gangs and some kids drank, a lot smoked, but not in the open because anyone mom or dad would tell. At 17 most of my friends had not yet had sex.
Many of my friends went steady at 15 and were still with the same girl at 17.This was Brooklyn and more cool that the rest of the country , or so we thought.

Well, I don't understand why Bible considers SEX as sin. If it was that was the case then why would God let a man and a woman have sex in the first place ? It's all about physical attraction and love.I don't believe all this cooked up story. We all are human beings after all and are bound to go by how we've been created by the nature.

Nope, society did. People really don't understand the consequences of sexual sin. Sexually transmitted diseases aside, when you have sex w/someone, you literally take a part of that person into your being (no pun intended). There's a soul tie b/t those two people. God did not mean for people to behave like the beasts of the field. And when someone tells you sex is a "need", don't fall for it. It's a want, a desire, but not a need. Sex is not a sin. Having sex outside of the marriage bed is the sin.

I'm a teenager, and I absolutely don't approve of pre-marital relations. I'm SO sick and tired of the kids in my school (which is public and therefore allowed to talk about sex but has to keep it's trap shut when it comes to religion, hypocritical, isn't it?) talking about condoms, they're sexual escapades and "safe-sex", what the Hell? there is no such thing, there is always, ALWAYS a risk. I don't take risks, Hell, I'm an extremist. The other day I asked one of them if she was aware of the fact that they are not 100 percent safe. She didn't know and even told me "No, that can't be true because..." You should have seen that girl's face, she turned red as a T-O-M-A-T-O, she obviously had had sex and thought herself 100 percent safe. I've also seen many girls in my school who are pregnant, and they sometimes talk about the fact that (guess what?) they WERE using condoms (one of them even said that she was using those AND contraceptive pills, go figure). God hasn't changed His Mind about anything, we have. Pre-marital sex is still a sin ( if you're an atheist or agnostic, you needn't worry yourself about this, go right ahead and risk yourself since you think that religion is utter rubbish).

actually i've heard that it's not necessarily premarital sex specifically...but adultery. Once ur married, if u do have sex w/ someone else is the sin... but i'm not sure!
either way, society has changed, even tho we hold on to certain traditions. and u still find people (like me!) who want to stay virgins til marriage :). don't look down or judge others who are different; have ur own mentality and expectations and be strong in them..... that way, no matter what, u will not regret things from lack of reasoning....!

Sex was never a sin and sex is still not a sin. there are aspects of sex which are sinful for example rape, having sexual intercourse with a minor, sexual intercourse with animals and some more very abnormal sexual practices are all sinful. I am not sure about homosexuality as it seems to be normal these days. However, sex in and of itself ids no sin at all.
Remember God created it and told Adam to enjoy it and he should multiply. Get some to enjoy in the correct manner

Premarital sex seems to have only been a "sin" for women. People don't follow double standards anymore, we are far too evolved for that crap. It has nothing to do with morals changing.
Your deity gave you a body to enjoy and the means by which to enjoy it. Use it safe and responsibly and have fun.

God doesn't change his mind. Just because you do it doesn't make it right. Its still wrong, the bible is plain about that. The bible has NOT changed, nor has Gods mind. Just humanities moral depravity.
But sex inside of marrige with your husband/wife? Beautiful thing.

Perceptions are a changin'.
The church frowned on the practice of curative medicine for centuries. The church was against the masses learning to read. The church is about two to three hundred years behind contemporary thinking and always has been. The sad part is that they always will be behind the times.
