Spirituality is your relationship with the divine. Religion is your relationship with a human-created and therefore imperfect church. Often churches lead people away from spirituality, not towards it, and can even be more social than spiritual. It does not say in the bible or anywhere else that anyone should be religious. Instead, it talks about your spiritual life. Jesus did not start a religion. Men did. And those men wanted what most men, do, influence and power.

Well religion often is associated with specifics such as a church, a type, a type in the type which believes this while this branch believes this... Just have a relationship with God, thats all thats important. Im a Christian, but you could call me a Jesus freak if you wanted to. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. If a person accepted Christ into their lives then thats all thats important.
So spirituality over religion.

Spirituality is the discovery and getting to realize our inner True Nature. Religion is the teaching of moral disciplines and human behaviours within societies.
They must both go together. Practicing religion leads you to and complements your spiritual growth.

Normally I don't answer, cuz people normally never get satisfied, but if you MUST ask, religion is a set of customs and spirituality is getting to know your self, yopu have a spirit, right? Religion is like a sacrifice, and God said I am fed up with sacrifices, he also said that obedience is better than sacrifices.

They are the same thing. Keep dividing up these subjects into finer and finer differences and it just serves as pigeonholes for people to put each other into and fire arguements back and forth. There is only one truth, no matter how many ways humans want to see it and kill each other over it.

Spirituality relates to things or circumstances that affect your spirit.
Religion is the worship of God.

Tough question. The best way to be is spiritual in your worship of God. Those that worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Religion started as a way of explaining things that humans didn't understand. eg Thunder and lightening = the gods are angry.

Your Spirit is your life force - it is not your mind, because YOU can change your mind - it is YOU. Everone has a Spirit.

I prefer spirituality. Religion tends to brainwash people and make them a little crazy. They forget what they're taught and just get mad at others for not believing the same thing.

in spirituality there are no rules. you are free to choose your own beliefs and your own methods. religion is following what someone else says or wrote down, regardless of how correct or incorrect it may be.

if anyone talks about having christ in their life, no matter what they say, they are talking about religion. christianity is a religion. period.
