what do you do when the people don't treat you right?

I stop affording them the opportunity to not treat me right, usually by removing myself from the situation. Generally speaking, though, I am treated quite well; and I treat others the same.

Been there, done this---pray for them. Did you know that the bible says that you are supposed to pray for people who abuse you, misuse you, gossip about you, etc. etc. And did you know that the bible says you will heap coals on their head if you pray for them. Sounds a bit cheeky to me---but when someone at work treated me with utter disrespect and made my life miserable---I prayed for them hoping God would forgive them for their testimony. And I think He did. But we don't pray for them for the coals...we pray for them because they need our prayers. You know, the true character of a person is revealed in the way he/she treats someone who can do absolutely "nothing" for them. Everyone expects to be treated nice if they are the boss or someone influential. But to find out how you are with YOUR character---look at how you treat people who cannot advance your career or your goals in life. You will learn a lot about yourself.

Tell them that they're not treating me right and i don't like it. If they don't change for the better i try and distance myself from them or confornt them again.

expect more for myself from people ... and find people who do treat me right
i don't hate them though i feel sad that they would need to belittle someone else to make themself feel good
so i send them love but keep them at a distance where they cannot affect me
