Has Islamic terrorism brought you closer to Allah?

Question

Many in the Islamic community claimed that 911 brought hundreds of thosands into Islam. Ive never seen any proof of this so I thought I would ask here. Did the murder of 3000 people for Allah convince you that Islam is the true religion? If so, explain why?

If murder in the name of Islam hasnt given you any negative impression of Islam (the source), explain why that is.

By the way, suppose I have a negative view of Islam as a result of all the violence done under its banner, is that bad? Rational?

If the murderers praising Allah before they murder for Allah ("Alluah Akbar") are not, in your opinion, practicing your idea of the "true islam", why should that changes anyones negative impression of Islam?

I reject Islam, therefore, I dont care what anyone thinks is the "true Islam", I only care how many people are inspired by the Quran to violently practice their idea of "true islam".

Alot of people do horrible things in the name of a religion, but that doesn't mean the religion promotes those kinds of acts. The KKK terrorizes anyone who isn't Caucasion in the name of Christianity, and they actually produce bible verses as evidence that anyone who isn't Caucasion is cursed. Does that mean that all of Christianity is racist? Timothy Mcvay bombed that Oklahoma building in the name of Christianity. Does that make a Christians terrorist? The 1000's of robbery's, kidnappings, and murders that occur daily in the US are 90% of the time commited by Christians. Does that mean that Christianity promotes this? Priests all around the US are being charged with molesting little Children. Does that mean Christianity calls for the molestation of children? Those are all acts of terror, but does anyone ever stand up and say all of Christians are terrorist, of course not. People were brought to Islam after 911 because they saw the terror and heard the rumors the media was spreading and they wanted to study the religion that everyone was suddenly labeling a terrorist religion. Once they studied Islam and got to know the real Islam, they were gravitated towards it because it truly is a peaceful religion. The people you see in Iraq and 2 other countries make up not even 10% of the Muslims all over the world. Are you going to judge all Muslims based on what a few of them are doing?

I am Christian and I believe that everyone should have some sort of faith. I don't think Allah would condone any MURDER or TERRISM.

What happened on 9/11 is NOT "true islam" it is an extremist group of people . They will have to or have answered to a higher power.

I know my lord does not believe in murder of any kind.

yea, all the terrorism gives islam a bad rep. and it shur didnt make me belive in allah. i dont think, tho, that all muslims think the same way as the terrorists (or we wud have a lot more ded ppl...), i think its just one radical group and it impacts the worlds view on all of islam, which is kinda too bad.
and i dont agree with a religion that makes u shove ur religion down peoples throats at the point of a gun (or explosive, whatever...)
i am a Christian, and Christians and muslims are major rivals, but i think everyone shud be allowed to decide 4 themselves in good time.

People started to read about Islam from true sources not lies alot of them became Muslims and found Islam the true religion of God

terrorism didnt bring anyone closer to Allah. Ignorance and violence brought the people closer to hell. This is not what you call a religious war it's simply stupidity, it's ashame our repectful American Sooldiers have to leave their families for this

Its a proven fact that Islam is the fastest growing religion of this world, fastest growing religion in Europe and was fastest growing religion in USA (uptil 2005, now its Scientology)

Me being a muslim do not say that murder of 3000 people was justified in anyway.. i think that was horrible and no true muslim would've ever carried it out! But you really dont know why they carried out such horrible attacks, there might be 2 reasons:
1)Their relatives were effected by the Israeli atrocities.
2)This was just self inflicted wound carried out by G.W Bush and co!

however, number 2 seems controversial but here in middle east everyone knows that 911 wasnt carried out by TERRORISTS!

I will answer it on behalf of my friend who recently converted to Islam...he studied Islam on his own and found that murdering is not allowed in Islam at any cost.
"If you kill one innocent human being you kill the whole humanity" (quran)
he was outraged by the media and said our (American) media is bullshit! and said its totally against Muslims and our media is corrupt + full of lies. It took him even closer to Islam, the real Islam!

2)Murder in the name of Allah....
NO YOU CANNOT murder in the name of God... thats totally cruel, i would say it again that most of the terrorists are directly or indirectly hurted by current wars... so many people carry guns because their INNOCENT parents were killed, now they want to kill the innocnet people of them who killed their innocent people---which is not ISLAMIC--Islam teaches patience and Islam itself means peace.... they should not kill innocent peoples, both christians and muslims at anycost!

3)you have a negative view of Islam...
Its bad, because you cant have negative view of anything without knowing it completely... just read the history of Islam or just ask your parents or grand parents about Islam before 2001! History will surely make you change your views on Islam. Read about Ottoman Empire.

4)If the murderers praising Allah before thy murder....
OK they will not get anything by saying Allah or God before murdering or suiciding..... SUICIDE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ISLAM.....but i dont think that any Muslim who kills an american soldier in Iraq is a terrorist... because they know that americans are stealing oil and are spreading violence! (consider chinese soldiers on your land, if an american will kill 1 chinese soldier they will call that american a freedom fighter.. so same is the case with us) but we do not allow anyone to murder an innocent person at anycost---declared!

no one can be killed, MUSLIM or NON MUSLIM out of WAR ZONE.. its an islamic law!
