well go the route i did..go to a boxing store and look for a cheap human body boxing trainer and use that keep treats in your hand everytime he jumps and bites give him praise and then have some one you and your dog knows bring someone you know but the dog doesnt know and test it out it might take a while but make sure if the dog bites the stranger that you say goodboy and then if you dont want the dog to bite them anymore then goes the training to teach him or her to not bite that person but keep bringing strangers that are willing to risk an arm or leg for ur help so the dog understands what you want if you have any other questions then you can email me

Are you trying to get sued? If you or your house are in danger a good dog will sense it and intervene. But there are training programs available for security training. But if you have a small breed dog, and he is already 3 years old, the likelihood that you will have any luck turning him into a guard dog at this point is not very probable. Use a trainer with your next dog, and select a breed that would be better suited as a security dog. And do not listen to armature advice on a site like this, as you will only end up with law suits!

I am confident in recommending to you the best guard dog training book available today, because I can see from your question that you are clearly not of a sufficient standard of intelligence or industry to read the book and therefore it will be of no use to you at all.
If I had any fears that you would be able to read or understand the book, then I would never tell you. It is The Koehler Method of Guard Dog Training, and I guarantee you will find it too difficult and too much hard work. Therefore, you will never have a guard dog, but will probably end up with a dangerous dog that you consider a reflection of your masculinity. One day, the dog will probably be put down, and you will be sued. Happy reading.

You don't want your dog to do that. It's a good way to get a law suit and a dead dog.
Some dogs- police dogs for instance- are especially trained as guards. But they are also kept with the people they partner.
Meanwhile, there are a few laws you had better learn about concerning keeping vicious animals. And think of this: Do you really want to keep a dog that could harm you?

You should never teach a dog to bite..... if he/she gets scared or too hyper, he/she might just go and bite random people and you yourself would be legally responsible and could get fined/jailed. Barking might be OK, I have my dog in a training class and it is going really well. I suggest looking online for a local class.

Im really not sure on how to get them to bark. However, PLEASE reconsider training your dog to bite. Even if your dog bites a tresspasser, the dog will be labeled dangerous in most cities. And with most cities, two bites and the dog will be ordered to be put down.

Take him the way he is. Do you want a law suit on your hands if he bites someone? Best to buy a guard dog, if this what you want.

You do not want a biting dog. Your dog bites anyone...even an intruder and you will be paying big money for vicious dog insurance.

ummm......i dont REALLY know if thats a good thing. If your mom comes over to visit in her wheel chair then whats gonna happen? Or, what if a little boy trys to get his ball back? If he attacks EVERYONE he'll be put down. So, try to train him by commands...like ATTACK!!!!! but dont let him maul everyone...if you cant train your dog go here:http://www.globalk9group.com/?OVRAW=guard%20dog%20training&OVKEY=guard%20dog%20training&OVMTC=standard it might help...
