Christianity like all religion is a virus. The faster it dies the better off we'll all be.

Hi...Why be upset?? If a Christian is sure the Bible is the truth, does it matter what opposers think, in the long run? I do not mean that their opinion doesn't count. But to us God's opinion does matter more.
I feel more stress when other Christians think I am trying to tell lies, when I am telling the truth the best I can, from the Bible...but God will correct us all in time.
The Sadducee's did not believe in the resurrection and they were religious leaders of Jesus day. If we make a mistake we should be humble and accept correction, and be reasonable.
I do not think the Bible is wrong at all, but I do believe that many denominations do not change when the Bible proves their ideas or doctrines wrong.

Religion is such a touchy subject irregardless of your faith or denomination. Religion is a man made word that does not appear in the Bible until the New Testament. When Jesus came he didn't teach a particular religion nor denomination he taught relations. Relations among men, how we should treat our fellow man, and the things that we need to aspire to in life in order to have a relationship with God. Put into that perspective, doesn't relations seem much more important than religion?

Why do Atheist Get so Upset when Christians say that there is a god and we have proof, is it because They know deep down that They are wrong and deluded? That's how it appears to me.

As an agnostic, I have to be impartial:
You know full well that the Christians use the EXACT same arguement against athiests.
So yes, both sides are so angry because they're afraid of the fact that they're wrong. Both of them. Athiests think there is no god, Christians think there is, but the truth is that such things are inheritly unknowable, like a paradox. "This sentence is a lie." The truth of that is unverifiable, as is god.

There are zealots in all religions. Just look at muslims who kill their daughters who "allow" themselves to be defiled by a rapist.
I respect others rights to their beliefs even if I consider them to be deluded. It is sad and contrary to what Jesus taught for people to get upset. And no it is not because that they are wrong. They have to the right to belief what they choose just as you have the right to make fun. Our country was founded on the principle of freedom of religion.

There is no one true religion- there is only God.
All religions are man made
and they are made so that man can relate in a mortal way to God.
God is of infinite intelligence
God is Omniscient
God is Omnipresent.
God is not a person nor persons he does not have a human form nor a human way of thinking.
Now man has several languages and cultures and man has several levels of intelligence and civilization. We have people still living in caves and eating dung, and we have people with Ipods and balckberries and laptops.
Now do think Infinite intelligence would make only one religion to reach all of us- over thousands of years ., do you think God would attempt to have a very specific message or a broad based message that anyone can undertsand and assimilate.?
Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Love God and acknowlege him in all things.
simple , easy, and something a caveman can use.
Think about it, use your brain.....
hope this helps

I could fill up this whole page with rantings, but to put it in lay-man's terms,
LEAVE OUR RELIGION ALONE, AND WE WILL IGNORE YOUR BELIEFS. I CAN NOT COMPREHEND THE THICKNESS OF YOUR HALF-BAKED INCONCIDERATE THOUGHTS!
G E T I T T H R O U G H Y O U R T H I C K S K U L L
P L E A S E
Now I apologise, but seriously.

I don't get upset when I am challenged on my beliefs. I get upset when people use God's name in vain. Whether you believe in God or not, I will not judge you, I am not here to judge anyone. Your destiny is all up to God right now. Just remember, you can change and walk the right path, only if you wish.

This could have been a good questions with an interesting discussion. Too bad you had to add that "wrong and deluding" part and ruin it.

You should never assume. All Christians don't get upset, but some do, because they don't like their way of life challenged or they don't know how to answer or deal with the opposition.
