i got a friend currently doing her MBBS in medicine in mauritius. Shes a citizen ther. she finishes her degree next year. after that she will get married and come to the united states. then she'll be a US citizen. im assuming she'll be ready to sit for the 8hr USMLE exam by then, so she'll simply need to find a center to write right? maybe its better i ask, considering she'l be a US citizen, and will have her MBBS from a diff country, wat steps can b taken so that she can continue specializing here and practice medicine? some details wud be appreciated, but a general overview wud still help greatly. like the exams she has to take, and the likes.. mind you, she's extremely intelligent. thanx peeps.. looking fwd to some answers..

You can check out www.nbme.org to find out all about the exams. As for whatever else needs to be done, I haven't a clue. might check out www.aamc.org
