well i would say around 16 years or more. if she is very healthy she could easily live up to 20. my bichon frise
(like a maltees but curly hair and a little bigger) just died. she was 16, but was overweight and could hardly walk because she was hit by a car when she was 14.
All dogs are color blind.

Adult Maltese range from roughly 3 to 10 lb (1.4 to 4.5 kg).
The color is pure white and although cream or light lemon ears are permissible, they are not desirable.
Maltese dogs, as any other dog, is color blind and can only see varying shades of black and white.
Also Maltese are nearsighted and rely more on their noses than on their eyes.
Average life span is 12-15 years.

most small dogs see about 12 as an average age but anything from 8(being very early ) to 14 is a good age.
and yes as stated all dogs are colour blind

The Maltese is generally a healthy breed with few inherent problems. Some problems seen are luxating patella, portosystemic liver shunt, and progressive retinal atrophy (PRA). Average life span is 12-15 years.

smaller dogs live longer than large dogs...A maltese can live past 10, maybe 13, but you won't find a great dane that lives that long. They may reach only 7 or 8. Dogs eyes are different than ours. They do not see the same colors we do and they can see better in low level light. I believe they also see more out of the corners of their eyes than we do.

All dogs are color blind. Most small dogs can live up to 20 years. I had a little mixed breedd that was 22 when I had to put him to sleep.

Life Span: 9 - 11 years
All dogs are color blind although it is speculated that they can see blue and yellow.... hhaah i bought my dog a blue and yellow bowl in hopes....
