Fasting does purify your body and is usually safe if you're medically able, but you need to drink tons of water. While fasting, your stomach will shrink, so make sure when you do eat, don't overstuff yourself. Good luck!

Fasting is NOT bad, just make sure you are prepared for it. Drink lemon water at the very least. Or some tea (look up what would be most benificial). There was a big study recently that showed that people who eat less, like one or two meals a day, produce several characteristic responses that are highly associated with longivity. Just make sure you are in the proper state of health to fast. I would read up on fasting techniques and follow ups.

No, it is not healthy unless you know what your doing, or are under a Doctors supervision. And even if you know what your doing, it is not good for weight loss.
I have friends that "fast" for a few days when they a concentrating on prayer, but they only do it for a couple of days once a year. They also drink clear juices and broth.
If you are doing it for weight loss, your body will think you are starving and will hang on to fat for survival. You may see some water weight loss, but its not going to be fat loss.

It's good to clean out your system, but you should drink some natural fruit juice and veggie juice. Than you body won't bring the weight back so easy..

not at all man what you trying to gain from it. hink it will make you a stick ...wrong! when you are hungry you internal organs such as the stomach bulges and increases insize appearing larger. looks odd! oh yeh n if its for religious purposes i hope you appreciate ya food

NO - you wouldn't wait until your gas tank was empty before you stop and fill it so why would you do that to your body? You need food to keep your body going I would suggest trying something different
