England vs America?

Don't get me wrong as I like the Americans a lot but if they are the Superpower of the world how comes their elite forces cannot match England's SAS?

The reason that I ask this is that I am currently serving in Iraq with the RAF Regiment Gunners squadron. We was basically assigned to transofr and escort some some 'special forces' the other day both consisting of British and US. For some reason their training seems to be completely different. The UK seems to look for the more Psychotic person who wouldn't think twice about ripping off a body part and beating you with it. Although either way, armed or not, I wouldn't want to get into a row with any of them.

Britain has the best trained military in the world and we also have the best technology,armored vehicles and tanks,the only advantage the US has got over Britain is the manpower of the US military but even then the yanks still get their butt kicked.

Most of the SAS are English Para's and there isn't 80% of Scots in the entire British army because they are all drunk.
US Delta or SEALS whatever you want to throw at the SAS they will over come the odds

It is their shortsightedness and ineptitude that got them into the war in the first instance. No thorughbred person would go out to attack a whole country just because the other time the president of that country wants to kill your daddy. there must be some better ways to deal with the situation. Britan is a country with limited resources and is reputably known for using its resources very well.

I have read a lot of novels on American and british intelligence and to me the British guys seems to make more sence in their choice of modus operandi than the Americans.

there forces are only elite bvecause of the kind of arsenal of weapons at their disposal. They had the same raw with the Nigerian Troops on the modus operandi of peace keeping in Sierra Leone and Liberia. their tactics was exescive use of force and total decimation of the opposing parties.

the reason why they have survived this far is as a result of the amount of stollen wealths at their disposal.

I notice you say England's SAS. Does that mean we take all the Scots, Welsh and Irish out of the Regiment? Sorry dumbo in that case Luxembourg and Andorra could both beat you. Are you lot (RAF Regt) still called Rock Apes? It would appear that the intelligence level hasn't risen in the past few decades.

You've asking for a numbers game. If the US made an best of the best from all its commandos (rangers, commandos, seals, etc) I bet England would come out on the short end of the stick.

I have no way of telling who the very best commando in the world is.

80% of the SAS are Scottish troops.

Delta Force has never ever had a mission success and thats a fact.

I'm not sure who is better. I say we call a match. The SAS against the Delta Force, and the SEALS. The team with the most bruises loses.

Becauset he SAS train to be the best so they are the best. The American Delta Force (USA's SAS) havent got a patch on them.

AAAAARRRRGGGHHH! I feared this question! Have worked with both 22 and Seals! Super black ops guys are ours! Fantastic green machine theirs! No bull just plain truth!

there are loads of black bag ops groups who we never hear of who are from both countries and as all these guys work closely together anyway this question is dud! They are all awesome and to be respected!

But if it came to the crunch the U.S's numbers far, far, far outweigh ours!
