I was, shall we say, interesting for my parents until I hit puberty, and then I completely rebelled against them and turned into a complete hellion. However, I also graduated high school at 16 with a 4.0, got my associate's degree at 18, got married before getting my degree (and have stayed married for 7 years), and generally matured very nicely, I think. I just needed to figure out who I wanted to be before I could be friends and be a "good kid" (albeit a grown-up one) to my parents. :)

I'm 92, my parents have been dead since the 60's, ma'm. I obeyed and respected them. You're so caught up with your ipods and myspaces you don't even know your parents exist! Respect them, child, and delete your myspace porfile. You'll be better off that way, fool!
