Wear flip flops or easy to take off shoes so that you can get through security faster. Don't pack anything that won't make it through the metal detectors and don't pack any liquids. Also, arrive early because security is tight now and you may be in line for a while.

In the spirit of tighter security at the airport, everyone should fly
in their pajamas.
There's no metal in them.
You wouldn't have to get undressed at the airport because you'd already be undressed.
And we would have the added bonus of flying in something comfortable.
For those more business minded, look for companies which make screening equipment using technology other than X-rays.
