I would try to do the best I could by them.

My stepfather's parents had 17. All college educated and very well-adjusted.

A lady who works where I do is pregnant with child #7. When my crew heard the news today we were discussing what we'd do. Her oldest is 20 or 21 years old. My only child will be 20 in November and I can not even imagine what it'd be like starting over. But, even more having a 7th child!! I just don't see how a person these days could afford to raise, school, etc. that many kids. I know years ago this was normal. However, times were different years ago!!

But, what would I do?? Geez, stay drunk for about 18 years :) Seriously, I have no idea!! I'd just do what I could and I would certainly teach them morals, responsibilites, work ethics etc!!

Man, thanks alot for making me think...and for the scarey thoughts!! I'll never give up the birth control :)

My mother has 10 children - I am the oldest and my youngest brother is only a year older than my son. I think it's too hard, because you can't possibly give each child the attention that they deserve. And the oldest children end up being nannies to their younger siblings. And the cleaning never ends - there were always dishes to do, laundry, etc.

I would probably be mormon, and since we all know i'm not mormon, I am sure that would never happen.

I'd probably get the tubes tied after 2 or 3.

I'm not one to want very many kids. 1 or 2 is good, this world is over populated enough.

Even though I know I can't get pass the baseboards, I would try to climb them anyway. I would do it in this order:
1. Run in circles really fast
2. Scream really loud
3. Pull on my hair and
4. have a go at the baseboards.

I would love every minute of it. I have one, but plan on having at least 5. I love kids. There is nothing more fulfilling than being a mother.

Try and raise them to the best of my ability while going crazy in the process. Times are tough even raising one. So 10 would be whoa....
