I'd like to add mine to yours. Feel that anyone who works hard to accomplish anything deserves to be recognised. When I was at school, many moons ago, didn't have the chance but can remember attending college after leaving school and gaining a qualification after lots of hard work and it was wonderful.
So WELL DONE to everyone.

I agree. Every year the same old opinions from those who, dare I say it, perhaps didn't get the A level grades they hoped for all those years ago. Could it be that, rather than the exams getting easier, people are studying harder and teaching methods have improved?

They say A-levels are getting easier because more people are getting better results. I don't think this is the case. There is a growing understanding that further education is important and students are working harder to get that. This is why there is an improvement in results.

Good for you. My 18 year old nephew has just got three As and he worked himself half to death to get them. I think the people who criticise them in public should think about all the students who have worked so hard to gain their A levels, and think again before running the qualification down. How bad is it to run people down for doing well? It's very bad, I guess, but oh so British!

yeah, i just heard that the pass-rate is 97%, not too sure if it's just rumours or if it's actually true, all i know is i wouldn't wanna be one of the 3%, especially with these claims that the exams are becoming easier, gosh, anyway, congrats to u all, but i was also saddened by the young girl who died in a car crash on her way to get......As!!!! How depressing, just when things were going well for her, God bless her soul.....(sigh)

I passed my A levels in 1992, they said they were too easy then.
I say perhaps the education system is getting better.

ITS GREAT THAT THERE ARE KIDS STILL ABLE TO ACHEIVE SUCCESS. WOHT THE DROP OUT RATE THESE DAYS I FEEL AMERICA SHOUD DO MORE ENCOURAGING STAYING IN SCHOOL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION THAN THEY SPEND DISSING THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PROBLEMS OR ARE FAT. THEY SAY OBESITY IS AN EPIDEMIC SO IS DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL
