I was thinking about a 1/2 cup per box I prepare. Seem about right? Or have you made these before and can suggest a proper amount.

when i was still making them (years ago), i just substituted all of the cold water for vodka.

Only substitute the amount of cold water that the package suggests with alcohol. Then, still use the hot water, because without it, the Jello won't set properly. So, if it suggests 1/2 cup of cold water then yeah, that sounds about right. But I forget the exact amounts, I just know we basically follow the box.

mix the jello with 1 cup boiling water and one cup alcohol. I like to use half vodka and half schnapps. I change the flavor of the schnapps depending on the type jello I use. I really like peach schnapps with cranberry jello.

I used a fifth of everclear (191 proof). Worked out fine...everyone felt good!

i made them lots,,, just add liquor instead of the cold water,, i like malibum rum,, peach schnapps with peach jello,,, here's a great website for you

honey it is totally whatever you want try to go w/the box though or they might be to runny or won't gel at all(a little goes a long way)
