I think there is an old me and a new me. I don't see the old me very often anymore. He still pops up from time to time. I still sin. We all do, but the new me is forgiven.I don't think I have the rebellion as much other than wanting to rebel against those that misrepresent Christians or those that don't see the potential our world has to be better. I'm married, so my own way doesn't come up very often. I'm finding that giving to others even when they're not owed or appreciative is really beneficial to me. I'm a new me, but I'm also still me. I've given up a ton of things I didn't really need in favor of things I really enjoy.

But I know what you were getting at. Good question. Get them thinking.

No, I don't believe there are two of me..There is one of me and I have a sinful human nature but strive for a spirituality that will lift me above (with God's Grace) my sinful nature. I suppose thats what some have termed "Our dark side", when we talk about our human tendencies. We all need to strive to rise above our selfishness and such to become loving, decent human beings.

Do I say one thing and yet do another ? No.
Do I envy others who have the things in life that I wish to have too ? No.
Does my life revolved around the central theme of "What have you done for me lately ?" No.
I am not perfect...no one is perfect, but I believe in the Golden Rule. I try to be this to others, "What you see is what you get."

YES, the flesh part of me is for the world and the spirit part of me is for the Lord. The flesh part usually wants its own way and pressures to get it. but u must rebuke yourself and tell it to be quiet. the spirit part is alway hungry for the Lord.
