My mom let me have an open house at my shore house with all my college friends last week. There was alot of girls and guys that showed up that I dident know. My mom know alot of my friends and was just hanging around drinking with us,,, she always does its not a big deal. Later that night I was walking through my back hallway and in one of the bedrooms I saw my mom getting with some guy i dident know. I just saw them like hooking up but ... its my mom! Should i say anything to her about this or just leave it go.. is that a big deal?

Your mother should be setting an example, not being a kid along with your friends! Sounds like she doesn't care how you end up with your life by how she is acting. That is totally unacceptable behavior for a mother to "hook up" with someone of her son's age, especially if neither of you knew him. It is a big deal, and I think you should consult your mother of her actions, unless there will be consequence and problems. If so, then if it bothers you that much talk to someone you trust for sound advise!

Mark throwed a party at his house and his girlfriend got real drunk that night Later that morning around 4:am., he woke up to some strange noises coming form the guest bedroom. He walks in and see his girlfriend taking it deep in a Doggy Fashion. He grabs his shot gun and blew them both right there in the room. He claimed temporary insanity, but the plea didn't work. While out on bond and awaiting his sentence, he takes 357 Mag and blows his brains out in the Mcdonalds parking lot.
My moral of the story here is that it doesnlt matter who she was with, he would of reacted the same way. Your reaction concerning your Mother, is what should I do? I'm appauled.

Why is it no big deal if your mom hangs out and drinks with you but a big deal to hook up with one of them? Isn't that what goes on at an open house party? you need to think about what it is you like about your mother hanging out with you. Is it just so you look cool like look at me and my mother says its ok if I drink in front of her or whatever. But now she is doing something you think is wierd and you don't know how to handle it. I think you and your mom need to talk, but what she does in a bedroom is her business, just if you are going by shut the door like she should have. I you don't like see her with a strange guy don't have the parties.

Well, I for one believe that, though your mom is allowed to have a sex life, there are certain things that aren't appropriate for parents do around their children. I think your mom should have left the party to you guys, and did her own thing. There are just things you don't do around your own child. I feel like if this is really bothering you, then talk with your mom and tell her how you feel. Hopefully, she will respect your feelings and show that her child, is far more important than any hook up will ever be.

You should talk to her and explain how uncomfortable it makes you feel.. She should understand that YOU are the teenager.. NOT.. her.. She can have guys..but she has to be respectful. Maybe she doesn't know how this makes you feel. You sound reasonable, you just need to set some rules between you two..something fair for both. Good Luck!.

umm what exactly is "hooking up" ? is the boy is over eighteen and your mom was all for it then whats the problem, just bring it up casually like hey who was that guy i saw you with i didn't recognize him, and then go from there. as hard as it is to come with terms about our parents are sexual beings other wise most of us wouldn't be here would we. lol

What you didn't say is if DAD is still around??? If he is, then you need to talk with her and let her know that your not comfortable.
If he isn't, then you mom is just getting with someone who is matching her sexual needs...I would guess she is around early to mid 40's? that would be about right!
