Hey Rebekah H,

Prioritize!!!! You have to list or list in your mind, all the things you need to do. Put them in order of most to least important. Making your bed might not go to the top of the list. Memorizing your lesson plan for a test might. So, memorize the lesson plan first - if you have time to make your bed - go ahead.

This skill will help you in all aspects of life. If your education is important, perhaps you need to let go of the church duties for a while. (for example). Spend less time with the boyfriend, and account for your relaxing time - set aside so much time for it, and stick to that plan.

Try keeping an activity journal. Just write down every thing you do, that takes more than 6 minutes (1/10th of an hour).

Do this for a week. Then look at your notebook as a schedule. Put it in a list format. Edit the list - for how much time you spent. You might be surprised at how much time you waste.

Correct your habbits, fix your schedule to give you more time in the priorities.

There are more consultants and books on time management than there are experts on Yahoo! Answers. Well, maybe not that many. I've read several, and the one I'd recommend is "Getting Things Done" by David Allen. It's in your local library, so check it out before you buy it.

He also has an informative web site at:

The key in time management is to find a system - or a hybrid mixture - that works for you.

Good luck.

First of all before you commit to anything, you have to make sure you are able to do it depending on your time. Since you are in collage, you need to give priority to school and allocate the time you need for classes and studying before you sign-up for a part time work. In short write your schedule starting from the one with the highest priority and allocate time to it. Whatever is left in the end is not very important and should get your spare time only. This workd for me. Good luck
