Ok if a lot of Mexican people just want to come over here and take our jobs why don't we just invite them to join the United States? We could build a few large factories throughout Mexico, and instead of them coming up here they could stay in their homeland and work in the factories. Not trying to offend anyone here just trying to provide a solution to a problem that no one has a solution for.

It would end up being an advantage, we would have a larger work-force, a larger military, and we wouldn't have to worry about them being illegal immigrants anymore. Just make them citizens, make sure they pay their taxes and learn English and we'd be a lot better off!

Well ya see that's what Bush has planned I think.......
How are we supposed to take over Mexico unless they ALL want to be here? Right? They think we stole their land many years ago? Guess what....... that isn't anything like we will eventually do!
I forecast that at some point ALL of North America will be called The United States of America!
Why? We want Mexico's vast lands and oil.
We want all of Canada's natural rescources, from timber, to gold to diamonds to oil and all the unexplored/unlived in areas there.
So at the end of it all, everyone on North America will become The United States of America and /shrug.. the 'illegals' are the way we are 'working Mexico' and the more tactful way is how we are working Canada.. (take a look around our immigration laws for each country.. like the USA will accept a Canadian Driver's License as a 'form' of legal ID when applying for a green card, and yet we do NOT accept ANY OTHER COUNTRY's given ID as acceptable Identification - unless of course it is a passport. All Birth Certs (of course it has to be an original/certified copy from the issuing agency) are required to establsh ID for the I-551 (green card).. so .. that's my 2 copper. We are doing it now.. we are just manipulating each country differently and one day we will all be the same country :)

Mexico IS part of the US. It was conquered away back. Although the US is losing its grip on S. America and even Asia as protests in S. Korea and Japan against US troops are heating up. But Mexicos "governor" V Fox continues to do the US's bidding, which keeping a good supply of cheap labour comin in. I mean what fat american can pick strawberries for a living and actually expect to walk after a days work? American anglos would have to go back to their british diet of meat and potatos, no more fruits and veggies if no Mexicans.

There is too much coruption in Mexico. I see it everyday on the news. Nothing against them though. But if it happened we couldn't go over and get cheaper medicine cheaper jewelry etc... Because then they would have the same as us everything would change for them. They would actually have to pay minimun wage to their workers. People in Mexico work for way too little.
To the answer above: We didn't steal Mexico from you, we won the war, you lost.

1.- You didn't won Texas and México's territory, Carlos de Santa Anna sell the land.
2.- I don't think that could be a good option since México is a free and independent country, that's why we had the revolution and independence wars.
3.- We need a solution to have a good life level here in México and stop looking for the "American Dream".

They don't have universal education there and even more would end up in our schools if it were legal. Poor people's taxes are low and don't begin to pay the cost of education (which is why Mexico doesn't provide it). That is why our border state schools are failing already. The funding is being stretched to cover huge numbers of people who shouldn't be here.

that would b a good idea, but hte only reason the U>S will take a company down to mexico is to pay cheaper for labor, and that's one of the main reasons why many mexican ppl come here, its because they dont pay enough so they have to take alternatives such as commin here, and workin at restaurants, fields, and jobs like that.

Excellent solution. Annexing Mexico would be the Ideal solution. However Mexicans in power would not go for it. Rebels would be created. Liberals would whine about it, etc..........
