hOW MUCH does 1 box of Betty Crocker cake mix make? I am making a 8in. ckae w/ two layers...do I need to get another box?

One box of cake mix will make (2) 8 inch layers or (2) 9 inch layers just not as thick or (1) 9X13 sheet cake

one box is plenty and if you want to fancy it up some you can take the two layers it makes and cut them in half and then you will have a 4 layer cake which appears to have taken a long time and effort with great ease.

No, it says it right on the back of the box that it will make two 8 inch cakes.
