should i get the SHINY RED OR THE SHINY SILVER toaster?

i'm just torn and like both equally, both colors match my kitchen

All else being the same, you should consider how your kitchen looks. What is the color of your kitchen wall? What is the color of your counter and fridge and other stuff in the kitchen?

If everything in your kitchen is white or silver, then you probably want to stick with the silver one unless you want the toaster to somehow stand out, as if you're making a sequel to "The Sixth Sense."

Oh - sorry - toasters. Toast is wonderful. I've often thought it should be delivered every morning along with the newspapers and the milk, to the doorstep, to avoid hassle and toaster-related injuries when still half-asleep. "Toast by Post", if you like. In fact, it's such a splendid thing that, in the absence of any delivery service, perhaps you should have both red and silver - both (a) to ensure continuity of toast service in the event of a break-down, and (b) to allow for extra production during peak periods (Easter morning boiled eggs for all the family; morning after an orgy when you've got seven tired people in your bed, that sort of thing...?).
