Do lots of Planks. Otherwise, Otherwise, you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Good luck and stick at it.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

I think you should do some exercise, skipping etc. First of all drink plenty of water in the morning after waking up. Dont eat anything for the next 1 hour. Go for a brisk walk. If you are really serious then I can suggest you do Yoga. This will definitely get you back in shape. If you need any help on Yoga then please write back to me with your pics.

You cannot "spot lose" weight. You can only eat low fat, healthy meals and keep calories below what your body uses. You can firm the muscles in a particular area that will give the illusion of losing fat.

sit-ups are good, ab crunches, umm, rolling your back slowly on a big exercise ball... oooh another good one is, you sit on your bum, raise your legs about a 45degrees from the ground, and stretch out your arms so you touch your toes but slightly pointed upwards and hold for about 5 secs, repeat as many times as you like daily.

you need to exercise, doing curl ups, or try going to the gym to work out there if you can afford it. They will give you a personal trainer and keep you in shape once you get there.

Learn to love yourself. It is the longest relationship you will have in your life. You sound like you are being too hard on yourself.
