Why do blacks blame whites for slavery?

I mean it was their own people who sold them into slavery. Which again is a black on black crime, much like today, except now they are just killing each other. And then they want to blame whites for excepting cheap labor when you know darn well you'd do it today too. I dont mean have slaves I mean cheap labor like whats done with the illegals. And lets not forget no one ever acknowledges the fact that asians and mexicans were slaves too. You dont hear them bitchin about it. They took and it went on. I dont owe anyone anything if my great great great grandfather owned your great great great grandfather and so on. I say it was the cheap labor of the time now lets move. Oh, and another thing... Why are you african american if you arent directly from africa? Unless you moved here and got naturalized then you are an American!!!

Because even now they want us to have pitty on them. A co-worker was passing me by ( he was black) and he farted! Just like that! He always burps and makes rude comments. And if you say anything to him, he starts going off how whites hate him and he is being discriminated against. PAH- LEASE!!!!!!

Maybe it has something to do with the way slaves were treated? How about like animals? Would you like it if another race decided that they were the superior race and then beat you around pretty much for no reason. Living like we do today I dont really think you would. I mean what don't you understand about slavery wether black or any other ethnicity it's not right. And during those times a lot of people did not have a choice some were captured or sold. Basically it has a lot more to do with white people excepting cheap labor. Do some research on slavery. Try learning about what happened to all the minority races. There is something common among all of the (minority) races that endured slavery. I hope you figure it out.

If black americans were speaking to the people in africa who sold them into slvery, I'm sure they would have something to say about it.

You seem oblivious to the fact that America had an apartheid system, codified in law, until 1964. The issue is not that other people have been enslaved thorughout human history - the issue is not only that the wealth of this nation was built largely upon the stolen labor of the blacks, who are not even honored for this, but are reviled and blamed for all the serious harm slavery had on their families and communities. The issue is that the white population benefitted immensely from slavery and from the legalized second-class citizenry (after civil war) of the former slaves. Blacks continue to be cut out of political power - you are probably not aware of the tens of thousands of black AMERICANS denied the right to vote by K. Harris' shenanigans which removed non-criminals from the voting rolls.

All that said, my son was just filming a pilot PBS-type show. We were almost the only non-black Americans there. And what did we see? Black camera crews, black director, black writer, choreographer, gophers, etc. In other words, a whole lot of people living, not complaining, not blaming.

And while my family immigrated here during the wage slave years, if your family truly owned people, then yes, you do have responsibilities.

Part of what you say is true. But for Blacks, they were the only group where almost ALL of them came here against their will. The Mexicans and Chinese came here for work WILLINGLY.
Yes, it would be good to get over it. I personally had relatives who fought in the civil war against slavery and I personally think it is immoral to own another human, yet I as a white have been dissed by blacks who thought they knew me and lumped me in with the KKK for cryin' out loud. But getting over things like that takes time. Don't you realize that some Jews are still crying about being slaves in Egypt all these thousands of years ago?
Everyone has to get over this kind of subject. I suggest you start by stretching yourself and making friends with a person from another race or culture.

As far as the African-American thing, I, who am third generation on one side and eighth on the other, (Mayflower,) have Scottish heritage and will always consider that I am a Scottish-American because the U.S. is the melting pot and where we come from does influence what this country is. If you don't think so then how could there be the Blues which is African, Spanish, French and Appalachian all rolled into one. I will NEVER forget my roots. Let everyone have pride, please.

Probably because white people brought them over from Africa. Then white people discriminated against them after they were out of slavery. Then there were quotas against them in schools that kept them from getting ahead. It was like this my mom told me when she was in school. It did not matter how good students were they would only let in a certain number of women and minorities. There was a limit. For instance. There was this limit of only say 5 women or minorities would get into a medical school class of 50 students. The rest would be white men. My mom is 62 now. This was when she was 19 that this was going on. So this was an extreme form of discrimination. School was not based on merit. It was based on color and gender. This was bound to leave a bad taste in any ones mouth. Also if you were not allowed to go to a certain school because of the color of your skin that would be a problem. My father lived in AK when all the schools were closed due to the fighting over separate, but equal issue. I am white, but I can see why people are angry. I am a woman, but I still see this white man world favortism. It happens just on job selection. People think some man is good for the job just because he is a white man. Someone got more money than the rest of us and more favortism. I do not know how they did it, but they did. He had less experience, but got paid more than tons of people. He just enchanted the boss somehow. He was lazy.

A larger percentage of blacks are haters and blame the white man for their past and present, more than whites dislike blacks. But, I think whites today don't owe anything from the crimes their ancestors committed decades ago. I understand that the whites did horrible things to blacks, but not all whites did that. Besides, you can't blame an entire race just because some of them committed crimes before or even today. Or, you can't blame somebody for somebody else's crimes. When your cousin steals something or shoots at somebody, (whatever race) he/she goes to prison, not you. But that doesn't make you a thief and a murderer. I agree that the government should assist those in the poverty level (all races) get a better housing and education. But sometimes programs that are designed to help specifically blacks, are hurting the whites, or at least discriminating against them. For example, 2 high school seniors, one white and the other black. They live in the same city, go to the same school, their parents make similar money, but the white kid has a 3.5 GPA while the black kid has a 2.5 GPA. They both applied to the same college and the black kid got excepted, because his race, while the white kid didn't. This is real experience by the way. I understand that universities have several numbers/percentages to fulfill and so on, but in this case the University discriminated against the smarter or the more diligent kid, just because she wasn't black. What I mean is people should be appreciated and evaluated for their talents and what they offer, rather than their skin color. If I have a stereotype, is that I dislike ignorance and hate.

Blacks don't blame whites for slavery stupid, they blame them for how they were treated during slavery. Africa is home to many tribes and tribal mentality is that of sharing ones assets. Whites introduced an entirely new type of slavery with torture and murder, which is not how slavery was in Africa. Asians and mexicans ***** about slavery too, you just don't speak any of their languages and can't understand it. Also slavery wasn't cheap labor you baboon's a$$ it was FREE! Unlike anything in America. Whites chose to name blacks African Americans, but you seem to be smart enough to know that if you were born in america you are not an african.

Maisy, african-americans are given that term because african is their lineage.. Just like Mexican-American, Argentinian-American, Polish-American, Russian-American, German-American, European-American, Italian-American and so on.. Notice how everyone of those has "American" behind it.

It's just a form of proper lineage. There is nothing wrong with distinguishing nationality. In fact, many people today prefer to be addressed that way specifically to "represent" their nationality because they feel pride-- and they should.

A lot of people prefer to be called, just, "American." It keeps it simple and to the point. But, hispanics want to express their Hispanic origin or descent, than they can do so, by saying Columbian-American or Brazilian-American, so forth and so on....

Anybody can be of the hispanic race... Anybody can be of European descent as well.. Hispanic origin or descent is used in statistics and probability outlook for researchers, etc... such as the U.S. Census.

Now, about the first part. Blacks may have been sold out, but whites went for it-- and in return, hell, did you miss the war? If people were to go to battle to fight over whether I stay a slave or become free, you're going to bet your *** my race is going to insult the other-- no matter if anyone from that age is living or not... history passes down the chain, and there will forever be hate.

I'm not really sure where you get Asians and Mexicans being slaves-- maybe I'm missing some large portion of history, or I'm unaware of it, but since you brought the topic up, lets delve into that.

Why do Mexicans-- illegals and why do the pro-illegals support low wages for these illegals? That doesn't sound humane in itself. There is a law! This is a country of laws!

If pros are going to support their side by using, "humane" as a keynote, than it should also be pointed out that it is unhumane to let these illegals become citizens, to further disrupt the quality of the economy by increasing the rate of low wages.

Illegals come here for a better life-- or do they not? Some may-- so we'll use this as an example. They come here for a better life-- to work for lower wages?

Yes, I understand the difference between annual income here and then in Mexico. But, for the rest of the country to be receiving so much, while the illegals, "now citizens" (in our example), are still being cut off from the laws that support rights to individuals, that enforce employers to charge at minimum, the states minimum wage!

Lets set this straight before moving on. Illegals are only used as slaves because they are allowing themselves to be used in this manner. No one is deporting illegals from their home country to be worked in fields and sh!tty jobs here in the U.S.. Illegals are volunteering themselves for slave labor. There is a difference here!

Yes, they are being used as slaves-- so why support this? What's the point? Because, even when they become legal, if they did in fact receive amnesty, American wages would go down even more. Not just for illegals, but everyone! That is, all those who don't own a business. For those, owning the business', they would become richer! Why you ask?

This is why.... because when those here are to become citizens, they will now be sponsoring every single family member and friend-- and be marrying the most unqualified person that the states would even allow-- however, the States would be allowing it now, because they have a sponsor! That means tons and tons of people will be here within the next 10 years... From my studies on this particular subject, I have calculated, that if the 30 million illegals here in the country are in fact, granted amnesty, in another 2 years, there will be double requesting the same! And by the end of the 10 year outlook, there will be another 70 to 100 million MORE people in the United States!

These people are poor! The U.S. Citizens cannot adapt to this, because 1) Not only are our illegal population figures on the rise each and every day, but 2) Our taxes would rise, and our schools would become PACKED!! Most likely over the brim! 3) There would be less educated people in America 4) The divorse to successful relationship ratio would skyrocket, not to forget, MORE AND MORE AND MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE BABIES!!! 5) The hospitals.. all these federal programs that our tax dollars support--- would be broke! And have to fold, because the government would finally go bankrupt!
And after this, comes disease... Hell, disease would already have been here! Whose gonna pick up the tab? The U.K.??? NO!! The world hates us! They would let us rot....

And, over a 10 year period, we'd go from a world power to a 3rd world country!

If we don't put a stop to it now, there won't be ANYthing we can do about it... Perhaps, what we see as the least best life right now, is the military. Yes, you get free stuff, etc... but, it's not completed like that. So, what we see now as a not so great life-- being in the military, maybe the best life at the end of 10 years.

400 million people in one country under one government directed by the North American Union... I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to take over the U.N. and prevent anyone from doing anything about it. The United States would lose all soveriegnity, and there would be no more holidays-- because if there was a holiday, that would mean no profit for the rich people-- which are the ones with power by the way...oh.. and NAFTA and CAFTA would then merge with RAFTA (Russia). Hopefully then, Russia and China would have kicked our government's ***... However, there would be no United States in existence. It'd be like the New China or some ****.. and end up being a communist country.

Look, the point is, If the government really cared about these illegals and supported their cause, they would send them home--- they wouldn't give them a felony, but they would send them home and allow them to apply properly.

By leaving our borders open, and being subject to any terrorist attack-- at anytime, and allowing whoever to enter as they please, it will just cause the poor to get poorer, the rich to get richer, while the middle class increases their workload, for less profit!! Taxes would go up too-- just enough to keep the middle class from going any further.

WE NEED TO STAND UP AND OVERTHROW THIS GOVERNMENT BECAUSE THE ADMIN, AND EVEN MEXICO-- though they say they care for their own-- do not give one sh!t about it's people-- much what our politicians are about. AS LONG AS THEY MAKE PROFIT!! AND THE PEOPLE IN BOTH COUNTRIES STAY POOR, THE RICHER THEY GET AND THE MORE POWERFUL THEY BECOME!!!!

To be honest, I couldn't care less. All the whites are mixing with blacks anyway, so you'll be extinct in a little while. But you are right about the fact that whites didn't sell blacks into slavery. But they brought us here and made us work for them. They treated us like personal property, and we were killed if we didn't cooperate. So don't try and deny they shyt.
