I like this guy and I feel that he also likes me, but he said to me one day that he liked this girl named Kelsey. Do you think that that was just a cover up instead of him telling me that he liked me?

could be...it greatly depends on his age. If hes young...16 or less, then yes its probably a cover up...if he acts like he likes you but doesnt admit to it then its very probable that hes...trying poorly to hide it from you. But if hes older and you've seen no signs of him liking you or being interested in a relationship with you, hes probably telling you the truth. Either way...dont stress yourself out over a guy...

Don't worry about it, either he's only playing "hard to get" or he's not ready to go out with you yet and he has some thinking to do so he's just saying that until he makes up his mind. I hope everything works out!
