Read Scott Cunningham's books. That is what I started with. "The Guide for the Solitary Practioner" instructs you on what Wicca is about and how to practice alone. That way you don't have to wait to find like minded people to join together. Best of luck and blessed be.

I am not Wiccan, but I know many Wiccans through my association with Unitarian Universalism and admire many of their beliefs. Some are really quite beautiful. Good luck on your spiritual journey.
