According to my mother, my grandmother, who was from Perugia, Italy used to make a chicken dish in which both beer and wine were used as part of the recipe. Does anyone have a recipe or at least an idea of what the dish is called? I'd really really appreaciate it! :-D

Well, I found 13 by typing (chicken, beer, wine) into the http://www.cooks.com search engine. Check out "Paella Paradise". Also, by accident I found this interesting sight for you and am going to put it in my favorites until they are finished building the sight. I want some recipes from over there, thanks. I think you will find this interesting. Looks like you could find your family name on there, too. Hope this works. it's a long one http://umbria.indettaglio.it/eng/comuni/pg/perugia/gastronomia/gastronomia_a_perugia.html I got this off the Google search engine typing in "Perugia recipes". Good luck!
