Here's a few, just for you!

“If your gonna screw up, do it while you're young. Older you get, the harder it is to bounce back.” - Winston Groom

Too many people grow up. That's the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget. They don't remember what it's like to be 12 years old. They patronize, they treat children as inferiors. Well I won't do that.”- Walt Disney

“You have to do your own growing no matter how tall your grandfather was.” - Abraham Lincoln

“We grow neither better nor worse as we get old, but more like ourselves” - May Lamberton Becker

“As we grow better, we meet better people” - Elbert Hubbard

“Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does - except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age. But only if the grapes were good in the first place.” - Unknown

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional

You’re only young once, but you can be immature foreve

With Age Comes Wisdom

A grownup is a child with layers on.

You never realized how much you wanted to stay a kid until that day came around...

(I'm not sure if your sister is still a child or if she is now an adult)

Those are just some of the ones I came across

They **** you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.
