I don't believe that answering a question is giving advice. You know when you are giving advice, not answering a question.

I used to give my advice whether wanted or not. I have worked hard on overcoming the need to listen to myself. LOL!

It can be hard to answer a question without giving advice, because I feel compelled to expand upon my answer to earn a "best answer." So yeah, I guess if someone asks a question, I feel free to answer them with unsolicited advice.

I try not to - it's been my experience unsolicited advise usually ends up sharing the same fate as unsolicited mail.

No, I detest giving advice and the strange thing is, most of my life so far, people have looked to me for it. I'd rather sit back and listen. That's my favorite thing to do. One can learn so much from doing just that....peace & love......~p~

No, and I don't appreciate it when others do it to me, either.
