im 20 and i do that sometimes. i dont have bang, my hair is just all together long, and if i wanna leave my hair down, but keep the bangs out of my face, thats what i do!

Just a little...just try back-combing the top part that is getting tied back before you tie it. You'll still get the style you want but with a more modern, mature look.

No, it's a classic look. Just wear clothing that isn't too much like teens wear.

I think it would if you had the up part on the top of your head, but if it was loosley pulled back it think it would look fine. I'm 23 and I still do it.
