I heard if your cat is chewing on electrical cords you put something around the cords so it doesn't harm the cords. And Also everytime your cat starts biting the cords go over to him and speak loudly but firmly and say "no" After a while he will learn not to . Also teaching your cat no is a good way to train it.

If you can't get the cords out of the cats reach then go to a local pet store and buy "bitter apple" or "yuck" its okay to pray a little on the cord just make sure the cords arent soked or it could be hazerdous. If that doesnt work a lot of pet stores sell these mats that have pokey things coming out of them. They are usually to keep animals from sitting on things but if you put them over the electical wires you could discourage her from going in those areas. Go to other local pet stores and ask seasoned employees for any additonal suggestions.

Squirt the cords with lemon juice or bitter apple spray daily.

Give your cat a nice cat tree to play on and many toys.

Alter your cat if not done yet.

Pepper works really well on keeping cats away as well. You can also squirt your cat with a water pistol each time you see her chewing on the chords. There are also plastic tubes you can buy that you use to put all chords in. This might be a good way of protecting your electrical wires.

wrap tin foil around the cord--not near the outlet--
cats hate the feeling of biting the foil
foil on a couch will also keep them from jumping up on it.

Go to the grocery store and buy some Alum, you should find it in the aisle with the spices. Make a paste out of it with water and spread it on the wires. It tastes bad, we broke our puppy of this habit by doing this.

It works better than the Bitter Apple because it doesn't wear off as quick.

Put bitter apple on the cords. It's available in any drug store, usually used to put on children's wounds so they won't lick them. Works fine for cats too.

The cheapest, fastest thing is to make a paste out of any kind of pepper and a little water and spread it on the chords. you can also paint on hot sauce or hot salsa. Cats hate anything spicy
