No. They are broasted chickens. McDonald's have the mutant ones. They are the only ones with nuggets.

No. But KFC chickens do seriously skew the world market in chicken pieces. In short, there are some interesting "flows" in the world chicken market. Such as net inflows of chickens' feet to Hong Kong (popular dish when cooked, served cold in lime juice); net inflows of breasts into continental America; net inflows of legs into continental Europe; net inflows of testicles (seriously) into Taiwan, where they are stirfried in a very hot wok with broccoli and lots and lots of garlic (referred to as "chicken fries"). But for KFC's purposes (mainly), chickens are dissected into 9 parts: 2x leg, 2x wing, 2x thigh and (oddly) 3x breast. That means that the whole breast is taken off the skeleton and split into 3 rather than 2 pieces as you'd expect. Not mutant chickens, but an odd way of splitting that bit of the carcass. As a result, you can buy a 40-foot container of "9-piece frozen chickens" or "8-piece frozen chickens" from chicken farms in Thailand or China for import to Europe or the US should you choose. Not mutant chickens; just a mutant trade. Better, you want to spend time with the UK's Battery Hen Welfare Trust, which persuades the farmers of battery (ie, stunted, malnourished) egg-layers to give away rather than execute their chickens once they've passed their egg-laying peak, resulting in many very happy, well-adjusted post-egg-layers as pets in country back gardens in the UK. Like paying for a pedigree dog rather than going to the local dogs' home, there's no excuse for not re-homing a battery hen...
