my period is regular for the most part and I started birth control, so unless anything changes which it shouldn't, we planned the wedding and honeymoon around my period way in advance. I'll have my period a week an a half after the wedding and a week before the honeymoon. I guess it was one of the first things we considered when planning the day

If you are on the pill, just start a couple months in advance starting your period two days early (stop taking the last hormone pill before the week of your peroid two days early). Start at least 3 months in advance pushing up your period two days each time. The first month may not start two days before your normally do, but dont worry. (also with this start the next month's first pill two days early). By the time its the month of your wedding you should hvae pulled up your period by one week. I did this so I wouldn't have my peroid durring my summer vacation and it worked great! I still kept regular, had the benifits of birth control, and was able to put my peroid where i wanted it!

I hope your wedding day isn't any time soon. If you're on the pill, just keep taking the hormone. Don't take the fake pills for 7 days. Consider getting Seasonale so you only get them 4 x a year.

I just go married last Friday. My doctor told me to take 3 Advil's a day, starting 3 days before the wedding. It worked!!!!
Or anything with 200mg of Ibuprofen in it.

Go on the pill a few months before and skip the last week of pills to miss your period. Your doctor can help you with it.
Good Luck!

Unless you are on the pill. And before you do that, check with yout Dr. Not all birth control can be done that way.
Depending on how anxious you are it may come early or late. But be prepared....just in case. There's a whole lot worse things.

Are you on the pill? If you are then when you get the last week of placebo pills, start the new pack of pills. You will not get preganant and this will delay your period. Just make sure you have one next month. If not, then just pray.

If you take the pill you can pick a day that isn't during your period. Thats the only thing I can think of.

There is no way you can avoid it. If its time, it's time. Wedding or not. It happened to me. I'm glad it didn't last long.

If you are on the pill talk to your doctor. I am pretty sure that you can skip taking the placebo pills in your pack and just start with the next pack.
