Why dont Mexicans Come here legally?

Why do they constantly jump the border, cant they go h ome, no one but there illegal spick relatives want them heree, they Use our country do not pay taxes, drive illegally and cause accidents to innocent american because they refuse to learn english, and look at the road sighns??

Actually there are three separate reasons. The first one is that the paperwork is just too long - when you're hungry on Friday at 5 you can't wait for the homeless shelter to feed you on Monday morning, can you? The next reason is one of history. Some (not all) Mexicans feel the U.S. stole their border states, so in their minds they are just rightfully reposessing their own land. This is clearly wrong as the U.S. not only had a war but later on paid them money for some of the the land. The third one is that (sadly) the Mexican leadership has been corrupt for so long that in desperation most Mexicans who need to come here do not focus on the illegality of their actions because their leaders are basically crooks who "own" the law, so they assume that they are all corrupt "patrons" to be despised in private. This is also wrong.

But actually a lot of them DO pay taxes because they want to do everything right to not get deported, and frequently they will turn their backs on the refund they could have gotten by not even filing.

As far as English goes, I agree; but again, if they feel that we stole THEIR provinces, why should they HAVE to learn OUR language? So even though you and I are in agreement they obviously think they have some points that are just also.

But the basic reason is that U.S. citizens either won't do their work, Wal Mart and others are driving wages down in general; and a lot of rich people hire them as domestic help because they would rather have a foreigner as a second-class person (I don't say citizen because they aren't) than a U.S. citizen who would quit after the next job opportunity that paid better came up, and most likely be giving the boss a lot of lip instead of the submissive way in which some Mexicans have learned how to act when they know it was in their best interest; because make no mistake - Mexicans are tough, hardworking people.

And we didn't even cover road signs or medical insurance - an issue that is destroying several border States' budgets.

Because they don't obey the laws in their own country.Why not avoid the hassle,do it the legal way then no one can send you home,and you don't have to be scared each time you see a cop.Id really like an answer from a Mexican person to answer this one.Not someone born here but someone from Mexico that's here legally ,was it that difficult to do it by following the laws?
Why don't all immigrants follow the US laws when coming to the US? US Immigration facts: aprox.600,000 undocumented/illegal Mexicans are in the US another 300,000 illegals from other country's are also here in the US ,that's why to us its more a Mexican problem .

Yes why are they so dumb? It would be easier that way... Why haven't anyone think about that alternative... and road signs those pics are really difficult to understand and the fact that the signs are almost the same in each country does not help at all... We have to think about it deeply... Now who ever travels to a country where sings are not in their language, wont be able to rent cars, or drive... so all we Americans that love to backpack at Europe or South America will not be able to drive on those countries... well I'll have to go to Great Britain so I can drive...

They don't refuse to learn the English language either - it's just much harder for an older person to learn a new language than it is for a kid. as for the legal ones i read a survey report the other day that said 60 to 70 percent of the legal Hispanics don't want them coming either

but it is very very hard even for super-honest citizens...

Really, the poverty created by Us capitalism is greatly weekening their country, and the salary are so poor, it is better for them to come work illegally in Usa, for 3-4 $ / hour, even less.

It is not a dream for anyone, but it is highly better than they would have got..
