I don't give my students a lot of homework. I just like for them to have extended practice. There are some things that just cannot all be done at school. I know that when I was in school, I simply hated busy work or homework that was too difficult b/c proper instruction was was not detailed enough to understand how to complete it. A challenging assignment with the correct amount of guidance and ones that reinforce skills are just fine with me. :)
Good luck in school.

You were not around more than 3 decades ago when homework MEANT homework -- and not the piddly amount that today's teenagers get from High School -- and I know what I am talking about -- I have teenagers in High School (one just graduated) and I compared their required homework to the stuff I kept from my years (and College Courses) -- the difference is STARTLING -- so MUCH less is being required nowadays!

Maybe the teacher is not giving you a lot of homework, maybe you don't know the material well enough to breeze through it just seems like you have so much to do.

I think the wording and spelling of your question rather demonstrate that you have not gotten ENOUGH homework, at least not in English. Homework is designed to allow your brain to make permanent neural connections through practice. Some people can learn very quickly, others need the constant repitition to make the same connections.

My wife is a teacher and the principal makes her give homework, so you get extra practice and you can also show your parents the subjects you are learning.

Homework is used to reinforce the concepts you learned at school. Repetition leads to learning. Repetition helps you to "own" the concept, not just memorize it.

it is easy for them to have your parents teach you than it is for them to do their jobs themselves

I'm a parent and I'm getting tired of it too what do they care what i know about their material
