Short of everything in our existence containing a beginning and end, why is this such a problematic understanding? BTW...it blows my mind.

...BECAUSE... everything has a beginning and an end in our existence, like you said. You know that people fear what they can't understand... you know that we like things to fit into a box... so when something reaches so far beyond the box that it boggles our mind, it then >blows< peoples minds.

Simply because everything in our life has begining and end we never deal with things that has no end and that is why our mind has been set on this fact. Even the things which we dont present its end at least we know when it will end such as the plants and materials.

Human beings are finite. If we were gods with infinite powers, we would be able to comprehend infinity. As it stands, we can't comprehend infinity because it's simply beyond us. We know that it exists, but knowing and comprehending are two different things.

What makes you think that it is ?
I have never heard of anyone having a problem with this concept.
Your mind seems very easily "blown"...

because by definition we are all finite in every way.

It is impossible for us to comprehend the infinite because their is nothing to relate it to.
