Well... unless you see boxes of laxatives laying around, the only noticeable sign I think you'd have is if she runs off the bathroom suddenly. Laxatives tend to have that effect.

If you really think she is doing such a thing and you are close, confront her. What she is doing (if she is doing it) is dangerous and if left alone, will become a horrible cycle.

well, sexxy, it is a dangerous disorder called bulimia, which is when a girl will take laxatives to lose weight after eating or she will throw up her food. I was bulimic for 3 years and it's a horrible disorder which leads to suicide 35% of the time. If your friend gets depressed after eating, or has pains that double her over before she has to find a restroom then those are signs. Also if she needs to be in private and is hostile about it then that's another. But here's one thing, make comments to her about how pretty she is, or how you love her for her personality. You can't just say "Laxative's are bad!" and expect her to agree and change her life, like I said it's an illness, it takes drastic attitude adjustment to stop someone from throwing up their meals or taking laxatives. But before you confront her, make sure you're 105% sure she's doing this! You can only hurt someone if you accuse them of something like this without certainty! Hope this helped!

Go through her drawers in her house, especially the bathroom. But don't let her catch you or you will have a lot of explaining to do. If they use the restroom often, that's another warning sign. Or if they take an extremely long bath. Once you are sure about it, ask him or her if they have an eating issue and if they have been abusing laxatives, because you have suspected it. Most of all, offer them complete support.

Does your friend make frequent visits to the loo? Does your friend drink a lot of water too? Laxatives give you the craps, and dehydrates you.

Walk behind them and look for signs of anal seepage. It will be evident, especially if they're wearing yellow polyester pants.
