All you have to do is believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose.
Then you have to ask forgiveness and repent of your sins, and mean it.
If you are truly willing to turn your life over to the Lord, you will have eternal life with Christ, and the Holy Spirit will join you and be your guide through out life, to help you make the right decisions and turn away from sin.
But you must accept Jesus Christ as your saviour, don't wait because we never know exactly how much time we have, don't wait until its too late, because you don't get a second chance.
When you accept Christ, say a prayer to the Lord inviting Jesus into your life, and then share your news with someone.

I believe everything you say. Truly. And I think it's wonderful for people of your religion.

However, I don't want eternal life with Christ, and I don't need the Holy Spirit to guide me through life. I don't need that to help me make the right decisions and turn me away from sins.

I have a conscious, and therefore I choose on my own to make good decisions and not sin. Also, I'm not so sure there's eternal life, so instead of wasting time worrying about going to heaven, etc, I'm going to spend as much time as possible with my family now, and really enjoy the time I spend with them, and really do my best to raise my daughter right.

But thanks for your offer.

Saved from what? Priests concoct wild tales to scare people. This often includes telling them that they sin and need to be saved. Priests charge money for saving people from imaginary stuff priests invented. Organized religion is the world's oldest con game, several sages have noted. I compare priests' routines to poisoning a water supply and selling antidote. They really sin when they try to control our every act and thought and cause much misery to take money from suckers. I cannot do anything as bad as that.

Thanks for your bravery...there really should be more people with 'guts' to speak about the Lord. However...it takes more than 'accepting Him into your heart' to be saved. Acts 2:38 says that you must repent, be baptized (by submersion) in Jesus' name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost to have your name written in the Book of Life. It is also not just a 'one time deal'...it is a life-time commitment to His word(as I'm sure most Christians already know). You have to live your life for Him, and obey His word...not picking and choosing which one's you want and don't want to follow. He is coming back soon!! Be ready!!! :) Thanks again for your boldness!!! Lord Bless...

I'm sure most people wouldn't like to be saved if they believed there was a god. The problem is that a lot of people don't believe that there IS one in the first place to do the saving.

I've already invited Jesus into my life! Good luck spreading the word! I find it's better to share Jesus by your life example though!

If all you have to do is believe, then what happened to the Commandments? Whatever happened to "Faith, hope, and love; let these endure among you. And the greatest of these is LOVE?" Whatever happened to "This is my Body... This is my Blood... Do this in remembrance of Me." You're view of Christianity seems awfully simplistic - You must be a Protestant.

Is it that easy?????
Its easy to believe anything you put your mind to but Jesus left very practical rules about being saved; Jesus' true message was to love God and love each other.
I am Muslim; Many Muslims I know profess love to Allah but none to their fellowman..and I ask them that question every day....Because you recognise Allah as the one true God and Mohammad is his Prophet, can you go to heaven? Think about it!

Religion is a very practical subject; I know a godly christian, Muslim and Jew by the way he relates to his fellowman.

Blessed Be
