Learn to say a few things in Vietnamese, that will at least make her laugh. Then just talk to her sincerely. She will probably be impressed and feel good because you didn't let the language barrier stop you from taking the time to get to know her. Good luck .

Ask her to a park and then to eat out at a Chinese Buffet. Ask one of her friends out too, and pay for her or him, one who who speaks both English and Vietnamese. Get to know both and they you. If the friend likes you, she will be more inclined to trust you.
