KirralaaChardonnay 2002, it's Austrailian and is very crisp with a long finish.
Farnese Vini Trebbiano D"Abruzzo 2004 White Italian wine, it has a long finish and is very light
If you like red I would suggest the 2003 Alkoomi Shiraz, I'm not always a huge Alkoomi fan but this year is good. I drink the low end $20 and under wine so bear that in mind! I have a wine log if you want more wine's to try or avoid.
Oh and here's a good website http://www.winemerchant.net/pages/top40.php?rank=03

For reds I even have continually enjoyed the Italian wines of Tuscany. i'm keen on any wines from Antinori, Banfi, Carpineto and DaVinci. I in basic terms drank reds until eventually presently (final 3 yrs). lower back my favorites come from Italy. practically any Pinot Grigio. I additionally am beginning as much as rather take exhilaration in enormous apple State dry Rieslings. incredibly Hosmer and Buttonwood Grove. all the above are often under $40.

Favorite wine depends on what the food is that's going with it.
Favorite pairings would be beef with black pepper served with David Bruce Petite Syrah... or goat cheese served with Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc.... or Bonny Doon Pacific Rim Riesling with chinese take-out... or Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages with Thanksgiving dinner... or ohmygosh the list just goes on and on!!
A stand-alone white wine? Cakebread Chardonnay
A stand-alone red? Almost any pinot noir out of Willamette Valley
Choose one winery... gosh... maybe Antinori (Italy) or Clos du Bois (California) or Rosemount Estate (Australia)
But... I live in Virginia so I have to say that my favorite Virginia winery (which sadly, is closing) is Farfelu
